iphone junkie

turns out my iphone has turned into more of a camera than a phone.  It's a rare day that I pull out my trusty point and shoot camera.  It's great.  Except it's not.  Because I rarely take the time to put my phone pics onto my computer.  And when I do finally get around to it, there's a lot.  So enjoy.
removing tree stumps.  LOTS of tree stumps.

can you spot C?  She was not a fan of the tractor and spied on daddy through the window.
girlfriend has been giving me a rough time with her naps lately.  she has turned into a cat-napper this past week and I am so not ok with it.  but when you're as cute as this it's hard to get to upset...
Sage has been begging Clint to take her fishing for her annual daddy/daughter birthday date.  Thankfully she was ok with Charlotte tagging along, or else she would have been heartbroken.  I LOVE their attire for fishing.  Clint says they wore their hat/tiara the entire time and had so much fun.

got a make-over from miss sage while her sisters were napping.  i love this girl.

Z and D's birthday!  Dustin was thrilled that we were singing to them.  Yes, Zac is getting big with lots of muscles.

I've about had it with nursing this child.  her favorite thing to do is to take a few swigs, bite down, then rip off and fling herself out to see if she has missed anything interesting going on.  It's beyond frustrating.  she will down a bottle in nothing flat but when I feed her, it takes forever.  I'm hoping to make it to nine months with her like I did with the other two, but I think I might give up early.
first taste of cake at six months old?!!!!  shoot me.

groove

We are finding our groove over here in no-mans land.  (wink wink)  The dirt roads are actually not bothering me much and I'm LOVING the fact that I can send the girls outside to play and I know there aren't any cars (or people....) to bother them.  They've actually made a few neighbor friends, Cale and Cambry, and have had them over to play.  I am as excited as them to know they will have a few play mates nearby!  I'm having a hard time adjusting to my new ward.  We went from having 4-5 nurseries and a zillion kiddos in primary- to now having a few kids in nursery and a few kids in primary.  It's a much older ward and I'm totally not used to it.  But I will adjust.  Or go inactive.  One of the two!
The house is coming together bit by bit.  We are not investing money into it now so I can't do any of the projects that I'm dying to do (or dying for Clint to do) quite yet, but hopefully eventually we will.  Now that I'm feeling less crazed with moving boxes and messes everywhere, I've got us in our happy little routine again and life is good.  I've been able to get my booty out of bed early and get my computer work done, or at least almost done, by 8.  I LOVE this, because then I'm not stressed all morning and afternoon about getting to it.  I've got more time to play with the girls and get other things done.  Clint has been working super long hours lately.  He's gone by 3:15 every morning and usually home between 6-7 at night.  So by the time weekends roll around he's pooped.  Thankfully I'm around to poke and prod and get him to keep moving on little things around the house for me over the weekends.  haha!  Poor fella.  I swear I used to be much more adept at doing things on my own.  But for some reason--lately--I'll start on something and get so frustrated with it that I just give up and leave it for him.  I've been trying to hang pictures and things this past week.  NOT the most difficult job in the world, right?  Wrong.  I swear behind each photo it looks like a woodpecker has been pecking away.  It's pretty bad.  Oh well.  At any rate, this is what we've been up to:

girlfriend is NEVER sleepy, according to her.
Found a Fry's Marketplace a few miles from us.  Hurray!  I'm thrilled with it.  WAY cheaper than Basha's, and WAY less WT than WalMart.  Plus the girls thought they were at an amusement park.  Win win.  thank you, Fry's!

inappropriate?  no way.  when you're this cute it don't matter.

HAPPIEST.BABY.EVER.

Sage is getting so grown up.  Her FAVORITE thing lately is flying kites.  We had a super windy day last week and she said, "mom, I hear the wind out there. That means it's a super good day to go kite flying."  And what do ya know?  Daddy showed up a few hours later for a quick trip outside to do just that.

Killing weeds.   White trash?  Yes.  And note the little princesses watching.  Why do I even bother with clothes every morning?  They live in dress up clothes.

Elder Young

LOVE this smile.
We got to skype with Nick this past Sunday for Mother's day.  Man.  I sure miss that kid.  It was so good to hear his voice and see his cute face.  We did a three-way call since my folks were in Utah meeting Kris and Brenna's new baby boy Greyson.  (what a cutie.)  He looked kinda homesick but sounds so good.  He was just a grinning fool and so were all of us.  Amber was in full "i'ma-crazy-pregnant-lady-and-can't-control-my-hormones" swing and bawled like a baby.  I was actually quite surprised that I wasn't blubbering too.  I think I was too tired.  Anyways--his mission sounds crazy and I sure hope he stays safe over there.  It was really neat listening to one of his stories he told us about a family that he baptized who is now having a hard time because of random little things.  He was very distraught over it and had a hard time talking about it.  My dad was able to give him  scriptures from a story in the Bible that related PERFECTLY to the struggle this family was having.  Nick was able to write down the reference and it was such a cool thing to watch that father-son teaching moment.  Nick has always given my poor dad a run for his money, so watching them interact in such a positive way was so sweet.  I know he is where he needs to be.  I know the people of Quito are lucky to have him as a missionary.  I know he is going to come home a better man for having made the decision to serve the Lord.  I'm so so proud of him.
Saying hi to Charly (who is posing on the bottom screen for him)

Meeting Greyson

SIX months

Two bottom teeth poked through this past week, exact same time as Sage and Charly's two bottom teeth.
Gets unbelievably constipated when she eats baby food and only poo's maybe once a week.  Very strange.
Rolls and scoots all over the place.
LOVES to suck on my necklaces and hair.
Laughs all day long.
Sleeps from 7:30-7:30 or 8 at night and takes two 1 1/2-2 hour naps and then a third one hour nap during the day.
LOVES her sisters and will watch them play all day long.
Buries her face in my neck when she is tired.  She SLAMS her forehead into the curve of my neck and then just goes limp while I hold her.  It's my favorite moment of every day.

LOVE my baby more than I  know how to say.
