Our Week

Some days I'm so obsessed with these three that I just can't stand it.

Little Miss is into EVERYTHING lately.  There's no hiding anything from her.
The girls were giving me a "spa" day.
Charlotte brushing my hair
(AKA making tangles and then RIPPING them out)
Sage was giving me a foot massage
(AKA squeezing in one spot over and over again)
Emery was smacking me in the face
(AKA smacking me in the face)
She's found my cupboards.
Amazingly though-she seems to understand "no no" just like my other two did and stops when I wag my finger at her and say no-no.  She cries broken heartedly though.
Sage wanted to play beauty parlor the other day.  Little C was the perfect customer.

Sage has been taking pictures with my phone every day.  Like a hundred pictures.  Most days they are of her toys and clothes and dishes, etc.  One  night as I was erasing most of them, I found these that she took.  I think she'll be a photographer.  ;)

Yes.  We still do this often.

And this girl is the master at cheese faces.  And at chewing her food then spitting it out.  Little stinker!

January So Far

kind of a blurry picture, but I LOVE Sage in her little maxi skirt.
We finally packed away the baby car seat, got Sage a booster seat and let Em take over the big girl car seat.  She LOVES it.

Charlotte on her very first day of SUNBEAMS!  I can't believe she's in primary and getting so big.  She was so excited to be in there with Sage. Went right up to the front row, sat down and started singing like a champ.  I love my little C.

I adore this girl.  I almost follow her around and watch her play just to see what she's going to do next.

I even adore her when she does this EVERY NIGHT when I make dinner.

Wrapping up 2012

No, we didn't do a big shindig to ring in the new year.  In fact, we were all sound asleep long before midnight.  But I'm finishing up my 2012 blog book so I can order it and these pictures just HAVE to be included.  My lady is enough of a party for me.

this sequence cracks me up.  She has discovered a little mirror in Sage's caboodle.

 She's saying:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning always begins at a reasonable hour for us.  Our ladies are still little enough to not make a fuss about it.  So we woke them up (minus Emery who slept through the entire morning) around 7 and went to read the note Santa left.
Stockings have always been my favorite part of Christmas morning.  Maybe because growing up at home our stockings were three feet tall and stuffed full?  Hmmm.  So I always LOVE filling stockings and seeing how excited the girls get digging stuff out.  And I love how excited they get about things like chapstick, crayons and books.  I swear we could have done stockings and left it at that!
After stockings we ripped into the gifts.  Aside from a few small things, their big gifts were a barbie doll house that was a MUST--I had one almost identical to this when I was little.  I swear I played with it till I was 16--and a Kindle Fire.  They weren't too thrilled about the Fire at first just because I don't think they understood what it was or that it was really theirs--but now the LOVE it.

Emery's one and only gift was a dollar store book that the girls picked out from her.  Gotta love cheap babies.

After gifts I made a big breakfast for everyone and we played for a bit before heading to my moms.  There, we opened gifts again and got to Skype with Nick!  He looks so good and I almost cried like ten times talking to him.  I can't wait for him to get home in 8 months.  He showed us a picture of his Christmas dinner.  It was chicken intestine and looked as bad as it sounds.  Poor guy!

After a two hour conversation with Nick, we headed to the Overton's- our final stop of the day.  We ate a yummy ham and potato dinner and then opened gifts yet again.  The girls were in heaven!  Spoiled all day and loving every second of it.  We are so lucky to have family close by.
