Pregnancy Update

It's been a while since I updated here about baby girl #4.
Yes, girl!  Four girls and no boys.  That's a lot of estrogen.  Clint was a bit disappointed when we found out, but he swears he is happy about it.  What can he say, though, really??
I am 26 weeks along now, and feeling pretty good.  I have insomnia, like I always do when I'm pregnant.  I have a prescription for it but try to limit how often I take it because I feel like I am over medicating myself half the time!  Between sleeping pills, Zofran, Zantac, etc...I worry I'm messing up my little lady.  I was a Zofran addict in the beginning, like always.  The nausea lasted till about 20 weeks.  So far my body has been handling this pregnancy way better than my last two.  It's probably just too early still, but so far my hips, back and legs aren't bothering me at all.  Usually by month 5 I can't run and exercise really makes my groin area hurt.  So far though I feel great.  My attitude and mood is what has really messed me up this go around.  I won't go into major detail about it, but let's just say my entire family will be glad when I'm back to my normal self.  I have awful heartburn no matter what time of day it is and no matter what I eat, but I've learned that a steady routine of Zantac keeps it tolerable.
At this point I'm about 11 pounds away from what I weighed with each of my other babies on the day I delivered.  So I think I'll be about the same this time, but I really couldn't care less.  I'm pretty much enjoying a super fun diet since I know this is my last time to use the "I'm pregnant, I can eat whatever I want" card.  (even though I don't believe that silly phrase...)
We don't have a name picked yet--mainly because Clint hates every name I suggest.  I LOVE Olivia, Sophie, Chloe, etc---but he has so far vetoed all of my ideas.  We both like the name Ivy--I really love it, he is so-so about it.  So nothing has been decided yet.  We both still like the tomboy-ish names, too--like Kodi and Jordyn--I'm just not sure about them since our other girls' names are super girly sounding.
Our house is pretty small, so she will be in our closet for at least a year until Emery is ready for a roommate.  I won't mind having her in our closet, but I know Clint is going to HATE it.  Our closet is tiny so the door won't be able to open more than a few inches.  He will have to get used to getting clothes out each night for work the next morning, cause no way will he be allowed to go in the closet at 3:30AM every day.
I'm nervous to have four small kiddos, but at the same time I'm super excited to have my baby.  I am going to seriously hold her all day long and get nothing else done.  Knowing that this is my last baby makes me a little sad because I just LOVE the newborn/infant stage so much.  I know I will always be baby hungry, but I also know what's best for me and my family.

Today

Evenings here are AMAZING lately.  Playing in the hose makes for easy, cheap fun!
I'm dying for a trampoline!
And I think all three of my gals are so freaking beautiful in such different ways.

May

Things to remember

Listening in on convo between the girls:
Charlotte:  Sage, I don't like monsters. Or ghosts.  That's why I don't like the Holy Ghost.
Sage:  Oh, no Charlotte.  The Holy Ghost isn't a regular ghost.  It's a special one that is good and makes you feel good on the inside.
Charlotte:  Oh.

Sage said the opening prayer in Primary ALL BY HERSELF last Sunday.  It went something like this:
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day.  I know my whole family loves me and Jesus and Heavenly Father love me too.  Help us to be good good good. Bless Uncle Nick on his mission.  Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."  MELT me.

my nudists.

Family Movie Night

After at 65 hour work week

these two are a little out of control with their "tablets".

I love this gal.  She is my "get things done" child.  She gets up, makes her bed, gets dressed, and carries around her cereal of choice till I come get it ready for her.  During this time, my little Sage is still trying to wake up for the day.  Haha!

Got a pedi from my man the other day.  So sweet and he actually did a pretty fantastic job.  Yay!  I never have to paint them myself again.  :)

Emery at 18 months

Emery at 18 months can say, "hi, bye, ok, thank you, please, ya, no, uh-uh, shoes, mom, dad, and shit".  (but I promise she doesn't know what "shit" is.  I haven't said a swear word {out loud} in a long time in front of my kids)
She is also obsessed with wearing shoes.  I try to keep shoes off our carpet but she is the exception.  If I take them off, she follows me around carrying them saying, "shoes! shoes!" over and over again till I put them on her.
She loves to run away from me when she's not supposed to.  Like when we are out in public.  And when I call her name in a stern voice, she runs faster.
She LOVES to brush her teeth.  I think it's her favorite part of every day.  The second I say, "Emery, are you ready to brush your teeth?", she screams "YES!" and runs to the bathroom and climbs on the stool.  There are several times each day when she will start whining and I will go find her stuck on the stool, scared to get down by herself.  So funny.
She still loves to empty cabinets, drawers, wipes, etc.  Everything that she is not supposed to get into, she does.  Many times a day.  Today, she managed to climb up her changing table to reach the baby lotion.  I didn't stop to snap a photo of the mess.
She started nursery and so far isn't loving it.  She cries and cries and cries until they finally bring her to me.  I keep thinking she will adjust, since she goes to child care at the gym every day just fine, but so far she seems to know that crying at church = hall time with mom.  Smart kid.

We sure love our baby.  She is the sauciest, most energetic and lively 18 month old.  I am obsessed with her.

The rest of April

April is long past.  My plan of getting caught up and writing everything out is totally not happening.
Instead?
The cliff notes:

waking sleeping babies to go to a doctor's appointment?
Blows.
little Miss has many days like this lately:

and this:
playing at the park before it's too hot to step outdoors:
Family Movie Night with pizza and popcorn:

first time pig tails!  And trying to stay busy/happy at church:
making treats with my happy helpers
dinner for breakfast happens often with this lady.  Thankfully, she is happy about it most mornings.
what's this?  Another moody face?  weird.
Yet another Family Movie Night meal:
 Walks at the Park

This barely five year old lost her first tooth! (April 28th, and her second on the 30th!)  I swear five seems super early for this.  She let that tooth dangle by a thread for days before it finally fell out.  Now.
I'm having a really awful mom moment.
This happened less than a month ago and I can't--for the life of me--remember what she was doing when it came out.  I think she was eating something?  I seriously can't remember.  This is why I need to stay updated on this dang blog better.  Stuff like this!  Sorry, Sage.

the world's sweetest 3 year old?  Right here:

I have a picture just like this of Sage pushing Charlotte in this stroller.  Wow.  Time flies!
