So the Naylor side of our family has had a family reunion planned for almost a year now. We were not supposed to go. Lack of cash and bad timing with a new baby had made our decision for us. But when my parents twisted our arms and paid our way? Well. You can't really say no to that. Some of my cousins ended up not being able to come last minute, so we stole their rooms and had plenty of space. We missed you Sean and Allie!
It was AMAZING.
I'm pretty sure it's our official vacation spot.
We had several condo's right on the beach.
The sand was so soft and pretty.
The water was warm.
The beach was empty.
It truly was heaven.
We could sit on the back porch and watch all the little kiddos playing. The tide would come in and out and all the kids spent hours collecting seashells. The resort even had a fantastic swimming pool with a kiddie area and slides for everyone.
Some rode horses on the beach.
Some ran on the beach.
Some rode quads.
Some ate lots of mango's.
Some spent way too much money on junk from the little natives selling things.
It was so fun.
It took me several days to convince Clint that he could handle missing one day of work and that the three hour drive would be worth the money we spent on gas. After only a few hours there, he agreed that it was a perfect place to get away for the weekend. It was so fun to see so many of my cousins that I haven't seen in so long and even more fun to see all of our kids playing so well together. I might have taken over 300 photos. So this could get a little long winded.
The view from our porch:
Charlotte is our early riser, and it was no different here. She was SO excited to see our view the first morning there.
Emery actually loved the water, but for some reason this time didn't want anything to do with it. And I LOVE the sequence!

The random Mexican friend who does not belong in our family on the bottom left. Hmmm.
The girls thought this was so fun. And I love little C's braids! We kept Ivy inside most of the time because it was pretty windy on the beach, so she isn't in many of our pics.
And we dealt with three stops on the way home to feed Ivy, and little Em who screamed bloody murder pretty much the whole way. So a selfie of us in our shades was a must. Obviously.
