{General Conference}

 We decided to make like King Benjamin and watch conference in a tent.  It was a hit!  The girls loved every second of it.  And my view was bomb.
 Between sessions, we flew on the trampoline.

 And when all was said and done, we zonked out.
 I LOVE conference.  Being able to be all cozy with my family while listening to our sweet prophet is one of the highlights of life.

EARRINGS!!

She begged.  And she won.
Right after school on her birthday, we headed down to the mall and let her pick out her first pair of earrings.  Hello Kitty, of course.  She was so excited and not at all nervous, until Emery and Charlotte both started bawling.  Then she started bawling.  There was only one worker at the store, so she had to do one ear at a time.  She had a hard time with the second ear after feeling the prick of the first ear, but after some consoling and me basically holding her in a headlock, it happened.  I love the progression of these pics!

{Frozen} Party!

My angel baby is six.  SIX!!  Sage has been the easiest, happiest, sweetest little thing since day one.  She has her moments of crabby, but for the most part she is my saving grace.  She is our "talker-talker", (her own nickname) and is so inquisitive.  Always asking questions and wanting to chat and eager to learn. She is always concerned about others and is ultra sensitive.  She is the best big sister and has started to be such a great helper.
She begged for a FROZEN party, so that's the route we went.  I've decided they will each get a party every other year, with just a family date the "in-between" years.  No way am I throwing a party 4x a year.  I'm not cut out for that.  Sage had about 40 people on her list of friends to invite to her party, so with a little negotiating we cut it down and prayed that not everyone could come.  ha!
The morning of her big day:
Her party decor and party favors:
We did build your own OLAF favors, with marshmallows, pretzels and chocolate chips.  The girls loved it.
They started by singing and dancing to the FROZEN soundtrack.
Lot's of LET IT GO around here.
Then we played "Pin the nose on OLAF"
Then they had a "snowball" fight with paper.  It didn't turn out quite like I envisioned it, but they loved it.
Cake!
They were all way more concerned about who would get the cake toppers than eating the actual cake.  My girls are always so shy when being sung to.  I wonder where they get that from?  ;)

They played and jumped and partied:
I loved watching her open gifts.  All of her little girlfriends were so involved and girly!  It made me laugh to see how they acted just like me and my mom and sisters still act.  They were just as excited about her toys as we get about each others clothes, make-up, etc.  Apparently we never grow up.

{Field Trip}

 I got to go on a field trip with this sweet kid to the Desert Botanical Gardens.  A chartered bus, a nice afternoon on a breezy day and only a few other well behaved kiddos made for such a fun day.  I'm so glad I get to do stuff like this.  I love seeing Sage interact with her friends and love  even more that she would rather sit with me and walk with me and play with me than anyone else.  I love this kid so much.

 Clint says he bought these for Charlotte.
Hmmmm.
Imagine my surprise when I opened a box from Amazon addressed to him and found these.  Ha!
I went to the temple a few weeks ago at 10PM to clean.  I was kind of dreading it because that's super late for me and I really love being lazy at night.  But it was so fun.  It's such a peaceful and beautiful building and being there late at night when it was so quiet was such a treat!
We reconnected with old neighbors finally and let these kiddos play for hours.  They are so cute together and every time we are able to make our schedule connect for a few we  are determined to make it happen more often.  And then half a year goes by.  How does this happen?

April!

 A nice, peaceful and relaxing afternoon at grandma and grandpa's house.
 If you look closely, she has dropped her gum on the ground and then has put it back in her mouth.  Because, you know.  You can't lose your gum in the midst of a tantrum.
 she has her happy moments.

 oh man.  this chick can be so sweet.

 She does this and then says,
"Feel my muscles, mom!"
My delicious baby growing two teeth!!!  I could eat her.
