Kinder Graduate!

 My sweet little Sage is moving on up to first grade.  This blows my mind!  She has started to look and act so mature lately.  It scares me and makes me excited all at the same time.  Sage LOVES school.  She has done such a wonderful job this year making friends, breaking out of her shell and learning to work hard.  She went from really struggling with numbers and letters at the beginning of the year, to reading books and writing sentences at the end of the year.  She is such a big helper and such a joy to have in our family.  Her little graduation program was super cute, albeit horribly crowded and hot.  She did a great job on her part and we are sure proud of her.
 Here she is with her teacher, Mrs. Hinderland and one of her little gal pals, Ayasha.
 Also something important to note about my big kid?  She is toothless!  She has now lost 4 teeth and is close to loosing her 5th.

the Temple:
 It was a beautiful day.
And freakishly hot.
 Great Gma with some of the greats.
 Anytime we get to watch the Larsen fam attempt a family picture, we are guaranteed a few laughs.  Watching Amber almost fall into the plants was worth the heat.

 Note to self:  wear longer sleeves to cover the beef-cakes.  Holy gross.
the Luncheon:
at the church, catered by Costa Vida
 the ladies put on a little show for us:
 the Reception:
little Ellie
 babes Reese:
 Little Fuzz
 dance moves:
this is pre-Emery throw up.  She enjoyed the candy bar a bit too much, then did one too many spins on the dance floor.  Ended up vomiting pretty heavily all over the dance floor.

{Easter hunt at Overton's}

 As per usual, we got lucky this year and had two Easter dinners and two Easter egg hunts!  Score.  I sure love these pictures of Emery with grandpa.
 Uncle Monte partnered up with Charlotte and helped her track down the "hard" eggs.

{Easter}

  Easter morning the girls went on their annual hunt to find their baskets.  One of these years they will tire of this but for now they soak it up!
 Yes, I got Em and Charly's letters mixed up on their baskets.  It caused major confusion.  This year we did notebooks, a new book, bath paint and an egg of candy for each kiddo.  Then Sage got new Sunday shoes, a bathing suit and CTR earrings.  Charlotte got a new lego set, and Em got a little doodle pad for church.

After checking out the goods, we had a yummy pancake breakfast before church.

 After church and naps, we painted eggs and played a bit before heading to grandma and grandpa's for an egg hunt.
 Yes.  She ate the paint.

G-ma and G-pa surprised all the grand kids with kites, so before the egg hunt we took turns flying them.

These aren't even my kids but I cannot help myself.  I want to squeeze my nieces and nephews so tight.  Reese is so freaking delicious.  And seeing my brother with his cute little girls is so fun.
